Monroe Music Academy is always looking for qualified, passionate music instructors to join our growing team. If you’re a musician who enjoys teaching private music lessons and working with students of all ages, we’d love to hear from you.

We are a locally owned music school serving families throughout Upstate South Carolina, offering high-quality private music instruction in a supportive, student-centered environment.

Now Hiring Music Teachers & Instructors

We are always open to adding new instruments to our lesson offerings. We regularly seek instructors for:

  • Guitar teachers

  • Piano & keyboard teachers

  • Drum & percussion instructors

  • Bass guitar teachers

  • Ukulele & mandolin instructors

  • Voice teachers

  • Other instruments (strings, woodwinds, brass, or specialty instruments)

Instructors who can teach multiple instruments are highly encouraged to apply.

Music Instructor Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of music and your primary instrument(s)

  • Ability to teach beginners through intermediate students

  • Experience performing or working as a musician

  • Professionalism, reliability, and strong communication skills

  • Ability to work with children, teens, and adults

Preferred (But Not Required)

  • Experience teaching private music lessons or group classes

  • Experience in education or working with students

  • A degree in music or a related field
