BEHAVIOR EXPECTATIONS
At Monroe Music Academy, our camps are designed to be more than just fun—they are structured, encouraging environments where students grow as musicians and teammates. To ensure every student has a positive and rewarding experience, we ask all participants to follow some behavior expectations. Students are expected to treat instructors and fellow musicians with kindness and respect at all times. Bullying, teasing, or disruptive/inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated. Students should come ready to participate, support one another, and contribute to the success of the group. Listening, taking turns, and working together are essential parts of the camp experience. For both safety and learning, students must follow all instructor directions—especially when using instruments, amplifiers, and other equipment. If students are put into groups, students are expected to remain with their assigned group unless given permission otherwise. Students should handle all instruments and equipment with care. This includes their own gear, academy equipment, and other students’ instruments. Students should never use equipment without permission. To maintain a safe environment, students may not engage in running, roughhousing, or unsafe behavior. Volume levels and use of equipment will always be guided by instructors. Students are expected to stay on campus in the designated camp facilities. Our goal is to provide a safe, focused, and enjoyable experience for every student. Disruptive, inappropriate, or unsafe behavior may result in a warning or parent contact. Continued behavior issues may result in being sent home early or total dismissal from camp. No refunds or prorates will be issued in the event of dismissal or being sent home early for any reason.
